The Spark I Thought I’d Lost — and the Moment I Found It Again
Five years ago, I was managing a high-performing jewelry store. I was pouring every ounce of energy into the business — my team, the sales floor, the numbers, the late nights. I believed that if I worked hard enough, gave enough, and proved myself enough, I’d finally be seen. Chosen. Rewarded.
And for a moment, it seemed like it was working. I was named Manager of the Year out of over 500+ stores.
But that next step I had been promised — the one I worked so hard for — never came. No district-level training. No promotion. Just empty promises and silence.
It hurt more than I can explain. Not just because of the missed opportunity, but because I had believed in the system. I had sacrificed so much of myself for it. And in the end, I felt invisible. Discarded. Drained.
So I left.
And for a while, I didn’t want anything to do with jewelry. I was done.
I pivoted into a different industry entirely — I even started working at an eye care brand I enjoyed. I focused on healing, trying to move forward. I thought maybe that part of me was gone for good.
Then… everything changed.
I became a mother.
One day, my daughter Hana reached for the necklace around my neck. Just a simple moment. Her tiny hands playing with the chain.
But something stirred.
Later that day, I opened my jewelry box. And there they were — my Nona’s gold earrings. The ones she passed down to me. The ones that held stories and memories and love. That quiet spark — the one I thought I lost — flickered again.
But I wasn’t sure what to do with it. I didn’t know if I had the energy to start over again.
That’s when my husband looked at me and said:
“You love this. You’re good at it. Why don’t you start your own?”
And that was the moment everything shifted.
He saw what I had forgotten.
He reminded me of what I’m made of.
He gave me the encouragement I didn’t know I was waiting for.
And with that… Hana’s Bijou was born.
This brand isn’t about trends.
It’s not about “proving” anything.
It’s about preserving what matters:
Family.
Love.
Legacy.
It’s about helping other women — especially moms, daughters, and women rebuilding their spark — create keepsakes that hold meaning. Pieces that don’t just look beautiful, but feel like home.
If you’ve ever felt unrecognized, unseen, or just tired of always having to be “the strong one,” I want you to know:
You’re not alone.
You can come back to what you love.
You can rewrite the story.
You can still make something beautiful — on your terms.
That’s what Hana’s Bijou is here for.
Want to create a piece that tells your story?

Your story matters.
And it’s never too late to let it shine in gold.
